HISTORY OF CADET SHIP

A cadet is a trainee or younger son of a noble family not currently in the direct line of succession. The term is frequently used to refer to those training to become an officer in the military, often a person who is a junior trainee. Its meaning may vary between countries. For example; let's take into account an African country such as Ghana. They started an amalgamation of Army (GA), Navy (GN), Air Force (GHF), Police (GPS), and the Fire (GNFRS) Cadets in Ghana. By then it was under an organization known as the National Cadet Corps Ghana (NCCG). It came into establishment in 1954 under the ministry of education, with its current form and organization being established in 2002, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The National Cadet Corps has the following as its command and administrative structures.

• His Excellency the President – Commandant In Chief of the Cadet Corps
• His Excellency the Vice President – Deputy Commandant In Chief of the Cadet Corps
• Minister of Youth and Sports – overseeing Ministry of the Cadet
• Ghana Education Service
• Ministry Chief Directors
• Cadet Headquarters
• Sectoral Headquarters
• Regional Headquarters
• District Headquarters
• Schools Cadet Corps

The Adult Staff in an institution can be given the following appointments:

• OC [ Officer Commanding ] – Officer Commanding the school
• SUO [ Senior Under officer ] – Second In Command
• JUO [ Junior Under Officer ] – Adjutant

Presently, this structure of the hierarchy is being followed through, all around the world as the backbone of its's founders.

Early 21st century, some cadets during regular training have proving to be more efficient than their predecessors. It was postulated that meat accumulating diet contains an excessive amount of fat that slows down body movement as the body will require much more energy to digest these products whereas, a plant accumulating diet, provides more energy and takes less time for the body to digest and transport energy. This bull shit, tell us that cadets now our-days are more like vegetarians compared to their predecessors who are more like carnivores. Nevertheless, I strongly think a combination of both will be the key to a healthy and moderate living.
