The Difference Between Spending Money And Enjoying Money As A Marine

 

    Through 10 years of research and experience, I have seen that spending money and enjoying it are not quite the same as most people say there are! Far back, when I was still a teenager. I used to spend money on toys, video games, lotto, and so on just for my pleasure. At this stage of my life, all I had to do was to ask and I was given. Yeah! A Period of constant enjoyment. But as you know, not all good things come easy. My parents sent me to a maritime academy. So I can one day put food on my table.

    Two years have passed since then. I had to live with a student salary instead of a king's. So I decide to change my way of life and adapt to a standard that suited my present environment. OMG! It was hard as hell but fun. For instance, Back at the mall, either on a Friday or Saturday, I went to take a stroll. I met a bunch of people all dressed in some kind of #Wakanda, #Korea, #latina, #sexy What!!! Well as I said, they move into groups like friends compared to me. I was all alone. We all sat at some curry bar. The waiter intentionally skipped me for what so reason. Well, I didn't mind “Come rain, come sun ” she will be back. When she came, I selected a Handburger with fruit juice as the main dish and chocolate cake as dessert. While waiting for my meal, I made a video call with my big sis.. from America. She kept me company, so I didn't get bored sitting alone. Shortly after that, this hot Instagram chick ( chicken ) came and sat at my table; Talking of a blessing. Men! After chatting with her for more than 2 minutes,  all I remember saying was,” DEM!!!” Was it just me or she speaks too much. My time with her, reminded me of the time, I used to ask my parents for anything my eye sees lovely and they provided. I compared me sitting here with a hot girl and those there with their friends | lovers | ECC... and I realized this season isn't worth it. I was spending money irrespective of my new lifestyle instead of enjoying spending the money. The bill was about 10% off if you are a student, but it was still high. So I solve the issue at hand by applying the law of demand and supply. She demanded I should pay off the full bill like any lady will do these days. Since demand was strictly greater than supply and I didn't get anything from the conversation. I did what every gentleman will do which is ”say the truth”. I will leave the rest to your imagination.

    NB: Spending money for negative reasons or should I say unwilling reasons 99% doesn't always put a smile on one's day. It Is Funny To Know This World Has Change. New rules and but the same old game. A mentor of mine once said, “ IT'S THE PEOPLE YOU CAN'T IMAGINE NOTHING FROM, THAT END UP DOING THINGS PEOPLE CAN'T IMAGINE.” It's a double coin, If I were you, I will fill in the balance but I'm not so you got to choose. Which shall it be 0 or 1 ????
