Merry Christmas, Dear Friendly Society And Happy New Year

Once again, I will like to thank all of you guys for the warm support of viewing my BLOG /channel these past few months generating over 5k views time.

Moreover, it is December the Christmas season of the year, where the beach are dazzling with goodies of all shapes and sizes. A period where saved money is spend and where spent money is saved. Most of us are waiting for a friend or two to visit or even take us out. But forget that, love is 50%-50% on each side of the coin and without proper invitations and meaningful connections, it is possible no one will show up.

Friends come and go in different times of our life. Some stay too long and others leave too soon. But one thing in common, we share most is wonderful memories of the time we spend together with each other. Just like the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening. 

In the movies, where you see two good friends end up being enemies in the end or enemies becoming friends.  As a Mariners, Christmas is more like a part-time event for most. For others, a period to make impossible friends or better unforeseen 'mischief'. Some experience unimaginable loneliness and may some time back-lass their emotions just to relieve a little bit of stress. Don't get angry at them, "They are just trying to communicate at best in their current state".


I was taught that enemies are not the really bad people we taught they were . They are actually the best friends you can have in life. Because, just like a good friend will see you doing something the don't like or approve. A good friend might let it slide because, it is you but, your enemy will constantly remind you of where you f**ked up. Preparing you for your shortcomings in life and setting you towards a better tomorrow.

I am not saying good friends aren't important as well. They all have an important role when it comes to self growth. When you are really sad or when you can't take the pain or drawbacks of life any more, they are the best fit to life up your fighting spirit.

Still they are people, Who do well without such petty retrains. Such people seem to perform better alone than with others for the move at a different frequency.

A poor one once said, "I have been rich and now, I am poor. If someone ask me to choose which life I preferred, I will choose rich ever f***king time".  For being rich is like becoming a solid rock at sea that is unmovable by no matter the amount of shock ways send by the sea monsters. Whereas, a poor man is just a lost fish at sea, preyed every single day of his life by countless dangers. 


Characteristic of a good friend

1. Patient with you

2. Easy to communicate with...

3. Knows best on some stuff about you

4. Encourage you even when you are failing that you can do better

5. Present or provide or create opportunities for you guys to grow

6. Don't waste your time, if not necessary 


Characteristics of an enemy

1. Creates opportunity for you to grow of fall out of balance and will keep you there if possible

2. They are your greatest fans

3. They know so much about you, that you are unaware of...

4. Count your losses before you even get the receipt

5. Never give up.

The Sole Lookout Man

LOOKOUT-MAN CNIC LIMBE Just like the police who are in charge of the safety of their citizen in society against all criminal circumstances that prevail or may prevail. At Sea, we have the Lookout man. He is a member of the bridge team (consisting of; OOW, AB,  boatswain , deck cadet, officers, and the master). With these awesome team, the vessel can navigate safely through the random occuring obstacle at sea. There are different duties assigned to the lookout man based on the time of day, and weather conditions.  Either way, he/her main duty is to ensure the safe navigation of the vessel at Sea. The sole lookout man with undivided focus on the task at hand using all his senses, mainly sight and hearing to detect incoming dangers for the safe navigation of the vessel. He then reports to the OOW who processes the given information to the master or any superior of his on the vessel at the moment of need before immediate action is to be taken. An attempt to a port with no documents

Most people in this generation think that without the right documents or requirements they can't have access to what they want. Even though they might find something more important than what they are looking for on the way. Regardless, it's true but to an extent that can only be determined by the situation and character of the person at stake. “ Not long ago, I decided to go visit the port of Ghana for an internship program to cover the practical side of my course as a to-be Seafarer. I mailed the port for the recommendations but I wasn't emailed back. So I asked my seniors for advice which they gave me happily. I required just a school note which contained my name, course, level of education, and the signature of the vice-chancellor.
